The delegation of the Verkhovna Rada, headed by Speaker Andriy Parubiy, will take part in the inter-parliamentary conference “The Republic of Moldova, Georgia and Ukraine: Eastern Partnership and Current Security Challenges” in Chisinau on March 2.
Speaker Andriy Parubiy said this at a parliament’s meeting on March 1, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Tomorrow the Verkhovna Rada delegation headed by the Speaker of the Parliament will take part in the inter-parliamentary conference on security issues ‘The Republic of Moldova, Georgia and Ukraine: Eastern Partnership and Current Security Challenges’. Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova, like nobody else, are aware of security threats. Our countries have felt what the Russian aggression is. Moreover, we are on the way to European integration – it unites our countries. Tomorrow, together with our colleagues, we will discuss the strategy in the field of security,” said Parubiy.
As Ukrinform earlier reported, Moldova, Ukraine and Georgia during the conference are expected sign the joint declaration on regional security and prospects for European integration of the three countries.
